Bearded Theory began in 2008 as a small gathering in Derbyshire and has grown into a beloved mid-sized festival. Held at the picturesque Catton Park, it features an eclectic lineup spanning punk, indie, rock, reggae, ska, and electronic music. The festival is family-friendly with dedicated children's areas and activities, while maintaining a strong alternative music focus. Named after founder Simon Rowe's beard, it has built a reputation for its warm community atmosphere and commitment to showcasing diverse talent across six stages.
