📜 History
ArcTanGent was founded in 2013 by festival promoters who wanted to create a dedicated space for math rock, post-rock, and experimental heavy music. Held at Fernhill Farm near Bristol, the festival quickly became a cult favorite among fans of technical and progressive music. With stages named after mathematical concepts (Arc, Tan, Gent, and PX3), it has hosted legendary acts like Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The festival is known for its passionate community and commitment to showcasing underground talent alongside established names.
