📜 History
Rewind Festival South launched in 2009 as the UK's first festival dedicated to 1980s music. Originally held at Temple Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames, it now takes place in Marlow, Berkshire. The festival brings together original 80s artists for a weekend of nostalgic performances, with headline sets from Simple Minds, OMD, and The Human League. With a capacity of 30,000, Rewind has become a pilgrimage for 80s music fans, offering a chance to see their favorite artists in a festival setting. The success of Rewind South led to the creation of sister festivals in Scotland and the North of England, making it a nationwide celebration of 80s pop culture.
