Boomtown launched in 2009 as a small gathering and has grown into one of the UK's most ambitious and immersive festivals. Held at Matterley Estate in Winchester, it transforms the site into a sprawling theatrical city with nine distinct districts, each with its own theme, storyline, and music programming. The festival features over 30 stages and combines music with street theater, art installations, and interactive experiences. Known for its diverse lineup spanning reggae, ska, punk, drum & bass, and world music, Boomtown has become a cultural phenomenon.
